Lastel has partnered with a rapidly growing, award-winning cybersecurity company in search of a Scrum Master to join their dynamic team in Galway.

Our client offers a variety of web security products that identify new malware sites via their threat intelligence database of several hundred million users.

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-performance teams and driving Agile/SCRUM adoption across the organization.

What you will be doing:
• Lead multiple Scrum teams in day-to-day execution, ensuring end-to-end delivery of features
• Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize the product backlog and translate the roadmap into reality
• Conduct daily stand-ups and facilitate sprint planning sessions
• Work closely with the CTO, Product, and Development leaders for product roadmap definition and release planning
• Foster continuous improvement in delivery efforts and Agile practices implementation
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management
• Shield the team from external influences and facilitate team communications

What you need to have:
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach
• Strong background (6+ years) in technical software development
• Proficiency in SAFe, Scrum, and/or Kanban methodologies
• Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, and product development
• Excellent sprint and release planning skills aligned with the product roadmap
• Demonstrates a servant leader mindset with strong communication skills
• Ability to assess team’s Agile maturity and coach for improved performance
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and architecture is a plus
• Background in Cybersecurity and/or SaaS product delivery is desirable
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of technical and business contexts within the team
• Experience in implementing and improving engineering practices
