Quality Analyst

Lastel have partnered with a global software company based in Limerick, Ireland, who are currently expanding their R&D team and looking for a Quality Analyst.

In this role, you will become a part of a Quality Group that designs testing tools and initiatives that are utilised by QAs across the globe.

You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of quality processes within the R&D. The quality team plays an integral part in the wider testing process including actively coordinating system, integration and group test efforts to ensure the highest possible quality output.

What you will be doing:
• You will be undertaking a variety of tasks central to the overall quality and company wide testing strategy
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Selenium, Test Complete and jMeter
• Detect, report, retest and track product defects to closure. Collaborating with Quality Group members and other quality analyst as required
• Come up with solutions to challenges that will support the overall quality effort across the company
• Working closely with project team, QAs to understand requirements and communications solutions as required
• Identify and communicate potential project issues
• Apply automated scripts to work with Continuous Automated Test Solution (CATS) strategy

What you will need:
• 1 year of experience in a software quality role, may include projects completed during studies
• Experience of software testing/test automation- using Selenium or JMeter
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and proficient in testing methodologies, including automation, functional, integration and system testing
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and systems with a high degree of ownership.
• Strong communication skills
• Degree in computer science, business or quality assurance.
