Lastel has partnered with a leading ERP software company based in Limerick, Ireland, who are currently expanding their R&D team and looking for a Software Engineer in Test-Remote- Flexible work location across Ireland.

Our client provides global manufacturing companies with Enterprise Applications, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that supports operational requirements, including financials, manufacturing, demand and supply chain planning, customer management, business intelligence and business process management.

As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be working with teams based both in Ireland/USA, and will be responsible for developing Next Generation Product Deployment and management tools.

What you will be doing
•Participate in development and testing activities including solution design and review, development, automated testing such as unit testing and integration testing
•Work closely with the project team and participate in team meetings
•Adhere to Scrum methodology and team standards

What you need
•Experience in creating test automation frameworks and automated tests
•Experience of working with Java or any other other modern programming language
• Previous experience of collaborating with the Product management and development teams to understand how features should be tested and contribute to automated tests for these new features
•Experience analysing complex software systems and working with others to improve the overall design and testability
• Unix/Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with CI/CD principles is nice to have
• Experience in a devops or a support role is nice to have
• Experience of working in an Agile or Scrum team
• Strong desire to learn new technologies
