Lastel have partnered with a global software company based in Limerick, Ireland, who are currently expanding and looking for a Cloud Data Warehouse Engineer.

Our client provides global manufacturing companies with cloud-based ERP software services that supports operational requirements, including financials, manufacturing, demand and supply chain planning, customer management, business intelligence and business process management.

As an engineer, you will be working with the data team to accurately store, process, analyse and visualize data on the Google Cloud Platform. You will be implementing methods for devOps automation, design data pipelines and architectures for data processing. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the stability and efficient operation of the in-house information systems and maintaining database subsystems.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be joining a team of five and working closely with the global team.

What you’ll need:
•3+ years of experience in designing and building large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications
•2+ years of recent experience designing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of GCP data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties– Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam/ composer, Big Table, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud PubSub, Cloud storage Cloud Functions & Github
•Experience in designing and building data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybrid Cloud Data Warehouse.
•Active Google Cloud Data Engineer Certification or Active Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification is nice to have
•Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
